The Larry McDonough Quintet (LMQ) will celebrate summer with the show Summertime - The Music of George and Ira Gershwin. LMQ will perform early hits of the Gershwins, pieces from the 1935 opera Porgy and Bess, including “Summertime”, “My Man's Gone Now”, “I Got Plenty o' Nuttin'”, “Bess, You Is My Woman Now”, and “It Ain't Necessarily So”, and finishing with later pieces from their collaborations and from Ira’s career after George died.
