Dave Stanoch
Dave Stanoch performs with a wide variety of artists in the Twin Cities and around the country. Notables include some of the most respected names in jazz and rhythm & blues: guitarists Hiram Bullock, Herb Ellis, Scott Henderson, and Stanley Jordan; keyboardists Jack McDuff and Ben Sidran; bassists Richard Davis and Anthony Cox, as well as avant-garde stalwarts John Carter and Bobby Bradford. Pop artists include producer/drummer Butch Vig, singer/songwriters Freedy Johnston and Katy Tessman, and the groups Timbuk 3 and New Kids On The Block. Broadway and television stars include Shirley Jones, Robert Goulet, Charo, Don Rickles, Bob Newhart, Joan Rivers, and Shari Lewis. Classical ensembles include The Minnesota Orchestra and the Empire Brass. Dave has also performed with renowned drummers Clyde Stubblefield, Bernard Purdie, and Ed Shaughnessy.
He co-leads a popular progressive jazz trio, Triplicate, and is an active studio musician and clinician in the Midwest. In 2000, he co-produced two releases on his own Rhythmelodic Records label, Triplicate's self-titled debut and Katy Tessman's "Fall". Dave endorses Paiste Cymbals, GK Music Superphones, and products by Gauger Percussion Inc.

He has been a percussion faculty member at Musictech College for the past decade.  Dave attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and also studied with many prominent drummers including Max Roach, Alan Dawson, Jeff Hamilton, Ignacio Berroa, and Chad Wackerman.
